WHAT IS LAC?
London Alternative Choir is a choir of capable amateur singers, who aim to entertain, to meet like-minded people, and to remove stigma of alternative sexualities.
We’re an inclusive group of people who don’t live their love life or sexuality in a ‘traditional’ way, or supporters of those that do. Whatever that means to you, we’d love to see you.
Most importantly you need to enjoy singing. Some of our members are trained singers, but all you need to take part is a minimum vocal ability and a love of singing and performing.
The LGBT movement has successfully pushed for greater acceptance that tolerance and respect for the private lives of others is a mark of a civilized and tolerant society. We celebrate these advances & aim to further them by joining voices from alternative lifestyles and sexualities.
Whether you’re in this wide spectrum, if your love life or sex life is “different” to a maintream one or a supporter of those that are then join us together in a unified, fun choir.
You can also join and support the choir & our goals even if you don’t want to or can’t sing. There is always plenty to do helping the organization of events and concerts.
REHEARSALS AND ORGANISATION
